We are looking for a common sense, fun, dedicated worker to join our clients committed team.

The successful applicant must have at least 1 year farming knowledge/experience or equivalent, speak good English, have valid drivers licence, be motivated and willing to try new tasks. 

Main duties will include:
Milking through 54 bale Rotary cowshed,
Milking of cows, assisting with wintering of cows, 
Assisting throughout calving. 
Feeding of cows using tractor and wagon, 
Moving rota rainers,
Fencing and setting up breaks for the cows,
and general duties as given by the Sharemilker or Manager. 
Applicant must be honest, have a strong work ethic, can do attitude, and ability to work unsupervised. 

This family owned farm, based 5 minutes from Ashburton, and 30 minutes from international ski fields (with white water rafting and a lake close by) has 700 Holstein Frisians through a 54 bale rotary cowshed. their own wintering block, rota rainers, flood irrigation and protrack in the cowshed.

You will have the opportunity to learn new tasks and continue your studies (PITO) with support.
